Nyack Mask Makers
Nyack Mask Makers began on March 20th, 2020, as a community project providing PPE masks for doctors, nurses and staff at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, as they serve Rockland County, New York, during the increased patient activity caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have now expanded our mask production thanks an influx of volunteer support and heavy demand from many other facilities and communities in the greater Nyack area and Rockland County, NY.
FOR OUR HEALTH CARE WORKERS:
Our primary mission is to to produce face masks that will be made available to hospitals, health care facilities, and first-responders in our community.
As of May 4th, we have delivered over 10,000 masks to our local health care workers.
FOR THE NYACK COMMUNITY:
We are now partnering with the Village of Nyack to produce and provide as many simple cloth masks for distribution to our residents.
